With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

I was actually living in NYC at the time. I had been playing shows here and there in the city, so when the pandemic happened, I really missed being able to sing on stage and perform in front of a crowd. I also missed being able to write in the studio and collaborate with other songwriters and producers. However, I can say that the solitude helped me focus more on myself as an individual, and made me realize what was most important to me as an artist. As things get better, it's nice to see artists go back on tour and be in the studio.

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

Because of getting the time to myself, I got to write more on my guitar and delve back into all the unreleased material I had been working on. I'm hoping to release an album soon.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

I've been discovering other areas of my creativity. I've picked up drawing and painting, and have been writing a lot more. I've found that journaling has helped me a lot throughout all of this, and giving myself the time and space to grow and heal has been super rewarding.

As things are reopening & restrictions are lifting have you booked any new gigs? Tours? Etc? If your region is still under restriction, how are dealing with the Covid third wave?

No new gigs as of yet, but I'm hoping there will be some soon!

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

Thank you for supporting artists, listening to our stories, and for being you :)
